Today marks the fifth anniversary of the release of Solstice Coil’s debut album, A Prescription for Paper Cuts, or APPC for short (or Paper Cuts if you’d like, though there’s now an album by Amit Erez that goes by that name.)

It was released on September 21^st because it wasn’t ready in time for June 21^st, which as we all know is the date of the Summer Solstice. So we decided to release it on the Equinox instead, although from reading this Wikipedia entry I now realize that the Equinox is actually on the 22/23 of September… oh well.

If you want to support us, you can purchase a digital version of APPC on Bandcamp for just $5 or higher if you choose so. We’re currently out of stock of hard copies, but I imagine a new batch will be printed sometime in the future.
