Perhaps the biggest news in the history of Israeli progressive rock, and It's astonishing that I'm writing about this now, after I've known about it for almost two years. Local everything-ist Omer Ephrat joins forces with Eggroll's Lior Seker, Blackfield's Tomer Z. and The Jonhsons' Gili Rosenberg, as well as internationally known (in progressive circles, at least) Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree), Daneil Gildenlow (Pain of Salvation) and Petronella Nettermalm (Paatos), released a full length album on one of the biggest progressive rock labels today, German Inside Out. This is, as far as I know, the greatest achievement for an Israeli progressive rock act to date, and all that remains to see no is whether it makes enough sales to justify some kind of tour.
