Playing acoustic guitar 10 hours a day may cause this

So here's another guy pulling off insane techniques over the internet. I keep wondering what came first - Was it Youtube that inspired so many guitar players to start finding bizarre and oddly appealing ways to play their instruments, or have they already existed prior, just pruning and polishing their techniques and waiting for that time when they can be unleashed upon the world?

Anyhow, the guy's name is Andy Mckee, and what I like about him is that other than his creative use of reverse fretting, tapping and harmonics, he has some very carefully constructed melodies. Listening to him is like listening to an acoustic version of Sean Malone's Gordian Knot played by a single man. I also suggest checking out our buddy's song Rylynn, which has some very nice arpeggio melodies.

(By the way, I'm fairly certain what you're hearing isn't what he's playing live - there are too many inconsistencies that can't be blamed on video\sound sync)
